California wine country is used to describe a region in Northern California. This region is known for its wine production, with having perfect weather conditions and a great climate. Napa Valley and the Sonoma Valley, are both located in Northern California, but are also referred to as California wine country.

When taking a wine country tour you will also get the opportunity to learn about the history of winemaking and wine country .Some wineries will have special activities and events or maybe you might find is a small course on the history of wine being offered. As said before a trip to California Wine Country can offer so much from tasting a selection of wines, to seeing the countryside, learning about the history of wine and spending time relaxing doing something you enjoy. Most wineries, for a small fee, will let you sample a number of wines and chances are you won't leave until you have purchased a full-size bottle for your enjoyment later.
